Reaction to the Outreach Program

This outreach program was conducted at the Rain Forest Pasig City with 15 female clients and one Psychologist from Sactuary Center, Mandaluyong City. All three Sections of 3rd Year BS Psychology Students of RTU-Pasig Campus held feeding program and activities to uplift the social life of the clients. the CAS-06-601A served Pork Stew and Mixed Veggies for lunch. We conducted 3 games including Hep Hep Hooray, Stop Dance, and Copy Dance Contest. we even allow them to showcase their talent, surprisingly all of them can sing very well.

This activity gave us close interaction with these clients. Everything that we have learned in the classroom was then applied such as simple assessment. from that, we learned something from their past life. We have also learned the responsibilities of the Psychologist to these clients and that this job was not that easy, it takes lot of understanding, patience, support, care, love and passion to perform the task very well. we gave thanks to all the personnel who took care of these clients, cook foods and others for showing real concern.

We also like to give thanks to Prof. Agnes Montalbo for giving us the opportunity to experience this.
